Magazine Binding:
Transforming Your Paperback and Magazines into Durable Hardcover Publications
Are you looking to give your favorite books and magazines a new lease on life? Our magazine binding services can help by turning your softcover publications into hardcover case-bound books. Book rebinding can enhance their durability and longevity. Here’s how we do it in four easy steps:
Step 1: Trimming the spine off of the preprinted book or magazine.
Step 2: Mill the trimmed book block and glue a new reinforced end sheet using a perfect binder.
Step 3: Create a custom hardcover bookcase to match the book block’s size.
Step 4: Binding the book block with new end sheets into the new hardcover book.
Custom Lettering and More
To add a personal touch, we offer various options for custom text applications, such as foil stamping, white toner transfer, heat transfer, digital printing, or dye sublimation. Whether you need to rebind law and medical journals or textbooks for work environments, our custom books are built to last.
Cost-Effective and Flexible
Rebinding books, magazines, or paperback books into hardcover books is more cost-effective than reprinting and binding. Depending on your needs, we can bind as few as ten books or as many as 5,000.
We understand how important it is to preserve and protect your valuable publications. That’s why we use high-quality materials and state-of-the-art techniques to transform your books and magazines into durable hardcover publications that will last for years.
Action Litho is dedicated to providing top-notch customer service. We work closely with you to ensure that your custom hardcover books meet your exact specifications and exceed your expectations.
In addition to our book rebinding services, we are pleased to offer wire-o binding for hardcover binding. This option is ideal for publications that require a lay-flat design.
We are always looking for ways to improve our services and are excited to announce that we will upgrade our hardcover binding options with Smyth stitching in Fall 2023. This technique involves sewing the pages together before attaching them to the cover, resulting in a more robust and durable binding.
